Reporting to the Business Development Director, the BD & Strategic Partnerships Manager will play a key role in setting up the business development function and be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and executing strategic initiatives to support the growth of Rakkar Digital. This role requires a proactive communicator and strategic thinker who understands the digital asset space and can identify market trends, develop innovative strategies, and communicate effectively with external partners, potential clients and internal cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, strategic partners, and growth opportunities within the digital asset space.
  • Develop and Execute Business Development Strategies: Formulate and implement partnership and sales strategies to expand Rakkar Digital’s client base and increase market share and revenue.
  • Lead Initiation & Qualification: Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Book qualified meetings with detailed, well-formatted handover notes on Hubspot from initial discussions for the sales team.
  • Relationship Management: Build, onboard and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and strategic partners.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate and establish partnerships with industry leaders, technology providers, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance Rakkar Digital’s offerings and market position.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations for business development strategies.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Rakkar Digital at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence and create new business leads.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in Hubspot.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the digital finance, fintech, or finance sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fintech and digital asset / blockchain space with a good network
  • Authentic Communicator: Ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, concisely and across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Growth Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed – up to 20% of the time.
