Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)
Rakkar Digital is a startup company backed by SCB10X focusing on digital assets and blockchain space. We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. The team is growing fast. We are looking for strong talents to join us in multiple countries across the region.
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with experience in web and mobile application development. The successful candidate will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and work with Product Owners and Development teams from other countries to deliver mobile and web applications to our customers across the countries.
- Role Purpose
- Develop and maintain services to ensure the business requirements are worked properly and secure
- Develop and maintain UI components in NestJS, React, Material UI, and TypeScript for use across Rakkar's platform
- Collaborate with team engineers to improve our product, architecture, and engineering practices
- Stay up-to-date on the practices, patterns, and trending technologies for creating best-performance scalable services
- Key Relationships
- Reports to the Development Team Lead
- Internal stakeholders include teams within the relevant departments in the company
- External stakeholders include partners providing professional services
- What we are looking for
- Solid understanding of NestJS, React, NodeJS, TypeScript, web development practices, and microservice development practices (design, development, and deployment)
- Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing
- You have a love for product, and web development and care about UI/UX + Quality at the same time
- You have a love to build products not only for completion but achievement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology
- 5+ years of relevant experience working on software development projects with experience in front-end and back-end development
- Solid understanding of NestJS, React, NodeJS, TypeScript, web development practices, and microservice development practices (design, development, and deployment)
- Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing
- Understand the importance of testing and code quality and be able to write high-performance, reusable code, and perform appropriate testing
- Ability to balance between functionality and UI/UX for features developed on the platform
- Passionate in product development and delivering quality product
- Understanding of digital assets industry, cryptocurrencies, and web3 is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-culture environment
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-energy, remote-first environment
- Experience working in Agile teams to support successful digital transformation projects, involved in the end-to-end planning to implementation
- Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies
- Excited about trying new approaches to set new and higher standards
- Courageous and willing to challenge the status quo to implement new solutions for improvement
